[March 2, 2017] Santiago’s paper that reported our collaborative work with Prof. Rajat Mittal’s group through the support of E2SHI is accepted in Applied Energy. This is the first paper from our work done at Hopkins. Congratulations to all!

[January 13, 2017] Sung Hoon is elected as the editor of the ASME Technical Committee on Mechanics of Soft Materials. As editor, he will support the annual newsletter in February 2017, and he will eventually be the chair for the Technical Committee in organization of the Soft Materials Mechanics Symposium at the 2020 ASME IMECE.

[December 21, 2016] Our group is awarded a R21/R33 grant from the National Institute of Health! Our proposal entitled “Self-Unfolding RV-PA 3D Printed Conduits” will utilize 3D printing to design and develop a novel RV-PA conduit that increases its size via tailored self-unfolding triggered by flow and time so that fewer complications as well as surgeries
